New word of the day…

      ‘ FUCKTARD ‘

I totally stole it and have incorporated it into my daily (ridiculous that it’s possible) vocabulary.

Thank you “Peever”  Heather!

What would you buy for $1,000,000?

If this were mine (tax free of course) I would (in no particular order):

  1. Pay off ALL our debt
  2. Renovate my house. Then sell it
  3. Buy a new SUV.  Not a Jeep
  4. Buy a new house somewhere else
  5. Get my nose fixed
  6. Get my hair done
  7. Help my son get out of the shithole he put himself into
  8. Set aside college money for Telly
  9. Pay my sister’s gas bill
  10. Get a Visa so I can travel out of the country
  11. Get a good 35mm Digital camera
  12. Get a hot tub
  13. Buy property for a camp
  14. Build a camp with running water!
  15. Buy a travel camper
  16. pay someone to peal my back.  I love my back scratcher, but it just ain’t cuttin it!
  17. Buy a laptop

I’m sure I could find something to spend the last few hundred thousand on…

Domestic Goddess

This I am not!

I am grossing myself out.  My house is so bad right now and I still can’t muster the energy to clean it.  It feels futile!

I am disgusted with the fact that my family/the people who make my home a pig pigsty could care less that they

  • spray toothpaste over the mirror, sink, faucet & handles
  • leave the drain clogged so that you have to stand in 2″ of scummy water to take a shower
  • leave the toilet disgusting for me to clean
  • leave their important papers/shit scattered throughout the living area
  • leave garbage and or dirty dishes where last used
  • complain the litter box needs changed and do nothing about it for 2 weeks
  • leave the dogs chewed up messes ALL over the floor

I am at a point (have been) that I don’t do ANYTHING anymore!  It’s disgusting!

PEEVES - Copies PLEASE!

The start of every new school year brings the onslaught of teachers paperwork and DEMANDS for signatures assuring we will abide by their every wish and command.

Believe me, I am not downing teachers.

BUT!

Do they use their brains when threatening our children with detention and losing lunch privileges if the kids don’t bring back signed forms?

  1. WTF???
  2. If you want me to sign something, you had better give me a copy or at least leave me the room to tear off my signature to return to you without losing any information.
  3. If YOU had to sign something you would DEMAND no less.
  4. What do you teach these kids?  Is it okay to just sign and not retain copies?  HELLO!
  5. If you will use the fact that I signed something at the beginning of the year against my child for not carrying a fucking pencil every day, you had better damn well supply a with a copy of this “CONTRACT” to each person signing it.

Flipping fucking ridiculous!

Vegas BABY!!!

So I HAD to go to Las Vegas for the IRS forums.  What a shame!  I was so looking forward to it.  Bound and determined I would have a good time NO MATTER WHAT.

The flight was delayed 2 1/2 hours which sucked, time away from VEGAS you know.  I had big plans to spend the whole day sight seeing.  I tried to soak up everything I saw from the time I got off the plane until I could get out there myself and have a look…   I was surprised by how small things looked to me.  Of course, they weren’t, I just expected ridiculously huge and more.  Not disappointed, just surprised.

After settling in the room and going to a great buffet at the hotel, my best friend and I walked the strip.  It was amazing!  The detail in the reproductions in and outside of these hotels were something else!  The dancing fountains at the Bellagio were one of my favorite things to watch.  (Probably my most favorite.  Since I didn’t get to see all that I wanted - I guessed there were other things that would impress me more.)

My favorite casino was Bill’s Gambling Hall and Saloon.  Decor was mid 1800s.  Stained glass everywhere.  Food was great (a bit pricey).  They had $.99 Margaritas!  Whoo hoo!!! We ate there twice.  Gambled a bit there too.

I also loved the outside of the Venetian.  Reminded me of a huge Opera House.  The gondalas were floating about in front of it.

I would go back if I had to, like another convention…  But I wouldn’t go back just to go there.  There are too many other places that I want to see!

Flying…. Not without meds !

I recently got back from Tax Forums in Las Vegas .  I swear it took me 2 days to get my sleeping back to normal, well, MY normal anyway.

I hate to fly.  I really hate to fly at night.  Maybe I shouldn’t say hate.  Too strong of a word. But the trip home was excruciating for me!  No sleep, or very little. A few minutes at a time throughout the 4 hour flight.  Between the turbulance and the screaming baby and not being able to see outside, it was a tough flight.  I feel if I can see outside during turbulance, I can stay oriented and not panic about falling out of the sky.  Can’t do that in the dark.

Also, before we took off, the pilot said there was a hold up for the mechanic to come check the plane over and sign off on it.  JEEZ!  He said it was nothing to worrry about - that’s not going to happen!  (Thanks Grandma Crocker!)  AND, as we were taxiing, I heard a rattle.  Like the one in my Jeep.  Seems there were parts loose and nobody but me seemed to notice.

Oh, the panic!!!

New to the area…

Well, I’ve decided to start a blog.

WOW !

I’m a bit nervous exposing myself.

I think I am going to take some stolen advice as to the format here.  I will try to keep each topic separate.  Keep each post short. Welcome comments (maybe).  I may even invite people!

I was invited to my best friend’s blog and have enjoyed it so much.  I read hers and other friends of hers and they brighten my day, make me think and help me feel normal!

I couldn’t figure out how to make my own where they blog, so I googled “BLOG” and found this free site.

Bare with me!
