Drop… Kick…

Ever have one of those days???

I should have seen it coming…

It started out normal…   progressed as usual…   Actually, it turned into a day where I felt good about my job and my kids.  One is finally working towards getting his shit together the other is finding new friends to help her feel good about herself!

Then - BAM!   The shoe drops.

The boyfriend breaks up.  I find out the next day - After she tells ‘everyone’ else.  (push, twist)

She SEEMS to be taking it well.  BUT, the last time was disastrous.

I AM BESIDE MYSELF WITH DREAD.

Afraid to go to sleep!!!

After last night -

She woke me up at 12:30 because she threw-up.  She threw-up because she ‘accidently’ took too much cough medicine.  - She said she read the instructions wrong.
OBVIOUSLY, there was something going on but I didn’t know it.
AND she didn’t feel she could talk to me…

Now that I know.  I am sick to my stomach.

Tonight, she sat and started a puzzle with her Dad.  When was the last time that happened???  She says she’s okay.

OMG.  I am sick to my stomach!

I think I may have overreacted a bit.

    She seems fine. Really fine.

Started her therapy up again tomorrow. Taking no chances!

    MiseryHatesCompany,

I think you may have over reacted a bit, but we
all tend to do that, especially where our children are concerned….relationships are tough.
Hopefully, in her own way, she was comforted doing a puzzle with her Dad. What do they say in that movie GREASE, the only guy a girl can depend on is her Daddy???
Not always the case, but in this situation, I think so.

    Thanks for that!
I think her and her Dad need this for their relationship, so it’s working out well!

Holy crap. How the hell do you keep your sanity? I’m glad though that things are better than you expected but I’m sure you’ll keep watching things. I believe in prayer, so I’m gonna say a few for y’all!
